The Mighty Marching Bucks — the Red Jukebox of Sound — are driven by excellence, unity, opportunity, and community. Our mission is to ensure every student learns the essential foundations, traditions, and discipline of the MMB program while growing as musicians, leaders, and individuals. We believe no child should ever feel discouraged or unable to participate because of financial hardship or limited resources. Our goal is to remove barriers, create opportunities, and make music accessible to all students in Hoke County. Through discipline, teamwork, pride, and perseverance, we strive to represent Hoke County High School with excellence both on and off the field while building confidence, leadership, and lifelong memories through music.

The Mighty Marching Bucks are made special by the dedication, resilience, and pride of the students, directors, parents, alumni, and community members who pour their time, energy, and heart into the program. Rooted in a small community where generations of Bucks have walked the same halls, played on the same field, and worn the same colors, the band represents more than music — it represents legacy, tradition, and hometown pride. Our students are hardworking, determined, and committed to representing Hoke County High School. Our directors and educators serve not only as instructors, but as mentors who challenge students to grow in discipline, leadership, confidence, and character. Behind the scenes, parents, boosters, volunteers, and community supporters work tirelessly to ensure students have the resources, encouragement, and opportunities they deserve. Together, they create more than a band program — they create a family, a tradition, and a culture of pride.
