Da’Shavone Holmes - President
Da’Shavone Holmes is a proud band parent, business owner, and community advocate dedicated to supporting students and strengthening the band program. A graduate of E.E. Smith High School, Class of 2003, she brings strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills developed through years of professional and community involvement.
With more than 18 years of experience in customer service, management, supervision, human resources, and escalations, Da’Shavone is known as a strong problem solver and effective leader. As both a business owner and community healthcare provider, she understands the importance of professionalism, accountability, structure, and building meaningful relationships through service and trust.
Her passion for band culture comes from firsthand experience as a former band member and temporary assistant under the leadership of Roosevelt Pratt, where she learned the discipline, teamwork, and dedication required to maintain a successful program. As Band Booster President, her goals are to strengthen parent involvement, encourage community partnerships, improve communication and transparency, and help create a positive, sustainable environment where every student feels supported and empowered to succeed.
Role
The President serves as the chief volunteer leader and primary representative of the MMB Boosters Club. This position is responsible for helping guide the organization’s vision, overseeing booster operations, supporting the band program, and ensuring the organization functions in a professional, organized, and student-focused manner.
Da’Shavone provides leadership, structure, and direction for the booster organization while working collaboratively with the Band Director, executive board, parents, volunteers, school administration, sponsors, and community partners to support the success and growth of the Mighty Marching Bucks program.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the overall operations of the MMB Boosters Club
- Preside over booster meetings, executive board meetings, and organizational discussions
- Ensure the organization operates in accordance with its bylaws, policies, and applicable regulations
- Work closely with the Band Director to support the needs and goals of the band program
- Coordinate and supervise committee chairs, officers, and volunteer activities
- Assist in strategic planning, fundraising initiatives, sponsorship development, and community partnerships
- Help oversee booster projects, events, competitions, and student support efforts
- Promote transparency, accountability, professionalism, and effective communication within the organization
- Support financial oversight in partnership with the Treasurer and executive board
- Represent the booster organization at school functions, community events, meetings, and public engagements
- Help create a positive, respectful, and solution-focused environment for students, families, and volunteers

April Bratcher - Vice President
April Bratcher is a proud graduate of Hoke County High School, Class of 1998, and currently serves as President of the Hoke County Alumni Association. She is deeply passionate about giving back to the community and supporting programs that positively impact students and families.
As a dedicated supporter of the Mighty Marching Bucks, April is committed to strengthening parent involvement, encouraging student success, and helping create meaningful opportunities for the band program through service, leadership, and community engagement. Her strong ties to the community, combined with her passion for mentorship and advocacy, make her a valuable asset to the Band Boosters organization.
April believes in the importance of unity, communication, and creating a supportive environment where students are encouraged to grow, excel, and take pride in their accomplishments both on and off the field.
Role
The Vice President serves as a key leadership partner within the MMB Boosters Club and supports the overall operations, organization, and success of the booster program. This role works closely with the President, executive board, committee chairs, and Band Director to help ensure the organization operates efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with its mission.
April Bratcher helps provide leadership, continuity, and support across booster activities while assisting with coordination, volunteer engagement, event oversight, and organizational planning.
Primary Responsibilites
- Assist the President with overseeing booster operations and organizational activities
- Preside over meetings and organizational functions in the absence of the President
- Support committee chairs and officers in carrying out their responsibilities
- Help coordinate booster events, fundraising efforts, and volunteer activities
- Assist with organizational planning, communication, and project management
- Serve as a liaison between booster leadership, parents, volunteers, and committees when needed
- Help monitor progress of booster initiatives and provide operational support

Treasurer - Lausanne Cordice-Lora
Role
The Treasurer is responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of the MMB Boosters Club. This position helps ensure the organization maintains accurate financial records, follows approved financial procedures, and operates with transparency, accountability, and integrity.
The Treasurer works closely with the President, executive board, committee chairs, and Band Director to support the financial health and sustainability of the organization while helping ensure funds are used responsibly to support the students and band program.
Primary Responsibilites
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records for the organization
- Monitor all income, expenses, deposits, and disbursements
- Prepare and present financial reports during booster and executive board meetings
- Assist with creating and monitoring organizational budgets
- Manage booster bank accounts and financial documentation
- Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and supported with receipts or documentation
- Coordinate collection and tracking of dues, fundraising proceeds, sponsorships, and donations
- Assist with event financial management, including concessions, ticket sales, and fundraising activities
- Help ensure compliance with organizational bylaws, financial procedures, and applicable regulations
- Work with the executive board regarding financial planning and budgeting decisions

Secretary - Natiua Blue
Role
The Secretary is responsible for maintaining accurate organizational records, documenting meetings, and supporting the administrative functions of the MMB Boosters Club. This position helps ensure the organization remains organized, informed, and compliant by maintaining clear communication and proper documentation of booster activities and decisions.
The Secretary works closely with the President, executive board, committee chairs, and Band Director to support efficient operations and maintain accurate historical records for the organization.
Primary Responsibilites
- Record accurate minutes during booster meetings, executive board meetings, and special meetings
- Maintain organized records of meeting minutes, attendance, motions, votes, and official documents
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, notices, and approved meeting minutes when applicable
- Maintain organizational records, files, and important booster documentation
- Assist with communication regarding meeting schedules, announcements, and organizational updates
- Help track officer and committee information, volunteer records, and organizational correspondence
- Ensure official records are properly maintained in accordance with booster policies and procedures
- Support executive board operations through administrative organization and documentation
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality regarding organizational matters
